Posh Bada celebration | Brihaspati Puja at Brihaspati Dham Temple
In the month of January Brihaspati Dham Mandir organises Posh Bada Offering (Prasad). Posh is a month
in Hindu Calendar, starting from approximately the middle of December to the middle of January. On this day patties (pakoras/bada) made from lentils and Halwa made from fine semolina (suji/besan) are offered to the idol of Lord Dev Guru Brihaspati, usually happens before or after the Maha Aarti. Since Maha Aarti takes place every Thursday, this Posh Bada (Prasad) is celebrated on the second Thursday of every new year. If you wish to become a part of this ceremony or want more information on any event details, please feel free
to contact Brihaspati Mandir here.
You can also book Brihaspati Puja online from here or by contacting the temple office directly.
